Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Hershey, USA

Located in Hershey, United States, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute was designed by Payette. The project is a turning point where an introvert, processed 1,960 campus ministry. A bold architecture, the "bow", brings together three disparate groups into a single structure. The unification of these disparate functions (main entrance of the outpatient hospital care, and academic research) increases the overall sense of place and community. A key design principle provides all occupants, with close ties to nature, unlike most peer structures.

cancer treatment suites are on two floors, past the garden adjacent to the current mega-healing property and hide in underground areas. Garden, which is designed for native vegetation to make the interest throughout the year, since everyone has access to patients outside, intimate view of daylight and controlled at the level of privacy or interaction.
