Those of you who checked out the last issue of Rue may remember us doing a little martini table roundup. Well, these little babies have become a slight obsession of mine, and definitely quite the trend in the furniture industry, so I thought I'd share some of my favorites that didn't make the cut - from industrial to quirky to glam.


Which style is your favorite? Personally, I'm always a golden girl myself, but really there's not a single table here I wouldn't bring home with me!

Liberty Medical Office In Pittsburgh, United States

Freedom of doctors designed by Front Studio Architects is located in Pittsburgh, USA. The facade of the structure is an amalgam of bits and pieces, with horns that reflect natural sunlight during the day and changing the appearance of the building. Other changes in the appearance of the exterior parts of copper patina and glass block lights after nightfall.

Walls of the building is prefabricated and constructed on site to reduce excess waste. This approach responds to the narrow nature of the yard, where a busy road in front of and behind the narrow alley.

Bench table with collaborative design and production studio headed by Karolina Tylka (product designer) and Szymon Nawój (interior designers). They are engaged in research, technology, materials and spatial relationships, focusing on the search for ideas that are consistent in all rooms, designed products and processes. At 100% Design was launched by the Bank of coffee, benches and tables that move is a clever use of space. Inspired by the need to drink coffee in the garden with no room for a cup or a newspaper, we designed a unit, clever twist can be easily adapted to your needs. This bench can be done in different lengths up to 3 meters and a variety of materials so that space would be ideal for public or private. A version of the software can be done? Indoor use as well.

I discovered this magical little shop a few weeks back and I'm completely obsessed with their combination of Scandanavian and Japanese design...

There's such beautiful simplicity in the pieces they carry! But a bit of whimsy too..

Not to mention the most sculptural bottle openers I've ever seen. (They will require some seriously sophisticated beer.)
